Softwashing is a gentle cleaning method that utilizes low-pressure water combined with eco friendly cleaning solutions to remove dirt, algae, mold etc from surfaces. Unlike pressure washing, it relies more on chemical action to achieve effective cleaning results.
Common equipment used for softwashing includes a specialized softwash system or sprayer, along with low-pressure nozzles and hoses. Additionally, specific brushes and tools may be used for agitation, depending on the surface being cleaned.
Softwashing typically involves the use of biodegradable cleaning solutions or detergents specially formulated to break down organic matter and stains. These are applied to the surface, left to dwell for a period before being gently rinsed away.
